In the launch episode of the 52 People podcast, you’ll learn the premise behind the original 52 People book published 13 years ago, for a project initially started back in 2009.

Jayson Krause’s best friend died a stranger to him. Revealing conversations with 52 complete strangers over the course of a year helped him unpack that void and provided a pathway to understanding deeper connections with others.

Now, 15 years later, he’s joined by his brother and sister to reboot the 52 People concept at a time when connection and understanding in a transactional, electronic-relationship world are at a premium.
